Certified Organic Seed Garlic

MUSIC: A hardneck, porcelain variety of garlic. The large size (usually 2-2.75" uniform bulbs) and strong flavor makes it one of the most popular varieties to grow. This long storing garlic (7 to 10 months) averages 4-6 cloves per bulb and is easy to grow. Originated from Italy, Music garlic enjoys the cold weather. It's typically planted before the first frost of winter. It could grow up to four feet tall. It can be grown indoors in containers, or outdoors in raised beds or as a field crop.

CHESNOK RED: A hardneck, purple stripe variety of garlic with a range of clove sizes. With bulbs of 1.5-2.75" large, it averages 9-12 cloves per bulb and stores long (7-10 months). It is very sweet and tasty when cooked, one of the best tasting baking garlics. Bright pinkish red cloves make this garlic very attractive. Originated from Republic of Georgia ( a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia) has become popular in North America and elsewhere. Planted outdoors, it harvests early-mid summer. The cloves are in a circular pattern and easy to peel.

PERSIAN STAR: A hardback, purple stripe variety and a superior all-around garlic.  Persian Star is said to be originated from Samarkand, Uzbekistan- the region believed to be where garlic originated  thousands of years ago.  It harvests in mid summer and stores 5-6 months.  A unique purple stripe garlic, beautiful with a rich and spicy flavor.  It is cold hardy and averages 8-12 cloves per bulb.
